Who Gives A shite!?

No one important, just the guys who will play for him through two cycles

Why would this not matter? There is a massive difference between a coach with a supportive locker room and one that’s been lost.

And to echo Broski, who wants this job who all things considered will be a better replacement and who will accept the pay? People aren’t knocking down USSF’s door for this job.

FWIW, Wilfried Nancy would be my realistic choice

Is the general feeling that Gregg is the coach through 2026 no matter what?

I saw Herc was talking about how he’s not the guy for this team at this level, but that’s nothing new.

Would it have made much to lose to Jamaica? My assumption is no, but I don’t follow the situation.

I gave you context and an example to explain this. It doesn’t matter how much the players like the coach if they are playing like shite and not getting results. There is no meaningful difference between a well liked coach that doesn’t get results and a hated coach that doesn’t get results. It feels like we are the same trajectory as Jurgen’s teams right now. Fortunately for Berhaltner, he won’t have to qualify for this next World Cup.

You and Broski’s points are a different discussion altogether. It’s fine to say that we don’t have better options, but it’s also dumb to point out how much the players like him as if to confirm he is the right coach for this team. We constantly underperform. He’s not the right coach for this team. In addition USSF is long overdue for a major overhaul.
