It's been a mindfrick for a lot of people for sure.
As I've always said, I never wanted Gregg the first time, didn't want Gregg the second time, and both of his hires were handled in amazingly poor fashion by the USSF. But while I recognize a lot of his flaws, I'm not blinded in hatred enough to not also recognize that he has been a net-positive for the program.
Still wish we went for a bigger fish, but whatever.

Going back in this thread, I do find it hilarious that Pulisic, based on what Crocker said at the press conference today about bringing Gregg back because the players wanted him, may be the biggest reason for the rehire.
