This is a hilarious take. The career politicians all want money. A citizen gives money to them and then they use it against them? And Rispone is the insider? Lol.
And as you stated, his major contributions have been in recent years. Ever think he had enough? Then decided to donate. Realized the money wasn’t helping and said he’d take it into his own hands and run?
Even more to this point...if donating makes him an insider, why spend $10M of his own money to run when he could bribe JBE with a few hundred thousand like GumboPAC? What’s his motivation?
