$10,000 to spend on a watch, which one and why? Thinking about a new watch and need some suggestions on ones that are nice and will retain their value.

I'm not a watch expert, but I've always loved a lot of the Brietling's I've seen.

I'm by no means an OT baller. That being said, it seems like if you're really that concerned about the thing retaining it's value, you don't have any business dropping $10K on a watch.

Timex Ironman and spend the rest on something that's actually useful.

Citizen's Eco, around $500 all in. Then send me $500 and buy index funds with the rest.

Thank me in 20 years with another $1000.

That's free advice, but as good as you will EVER get, IMHO.

Almost everything you can see tells the time. Toasters, refrigerators, pens. So, then it is jewelry. Are you a chick? No. Of course not, chicks DGAF about watches or what time it is.

Citizen's Eco.

(Or Omega FTMFW - frick Rolex.)

You wont find much outside of Rolex. There are a few but value retention goes downhill after rolex

A Rolex will probably hold it's value the best in that price range.
