That was the "starting" price for trucks back then...you sometimes still see low starting prices like that, but that is for a stripped down, single cap work truck with no options...not many folks would want to drive such a truck. I think the normal sticker price for a reasonable truck started at about $30K back then.

That's what's crazy...

In '06, we bought a certified pre-owned '06 Tahoe with 9k miles on it, LT 4WD for 28k... Today that same Tahoe would cost you 42k.
