Been on an Anthony Ryan kick lately.

I really enjoyed the Covenant of Steel books. I also liked the Raven's Shadow books despite everyone seeming to hate the last book. I also really liked the Raven's Blade books.

I'm reading the Draconis Memoria books now, and I'm kind of torn on them. Seems like they might have been earlier in his career...

I'm one who doesn't hate the last book. Love that whole series. His subsequent stories with AL Sorna are still readable, bit not as good, IMO.

I very much enjoyed Draconis Memoria to. Liked the world and magic system.

Covenant of Steel is OUTSTANDING from start to finish, a big return to form for him. Somewhat predictable in the end but that is ok.

I really really enjoyed them.

Wish they had gotten more attention.

I just read the synopsis of this. My library has it so I'm going to read it once I'm done with the First Law.

This was an excellent series. I finished it in less than 2 weeks. I'm not a fast reader, but this series had me committed very early on. It's one of those series you wished were 8 books long with 1000 pages per book (something Sanderson usually accomplishes).

But anyone that likes reading Sci-Fi and doesn't check this series out is doing themselves a disfavor.
