I had same feeling. Secret project 4 was only one whose released chapters I had read before it came out so I knew who the focus character was and was pumped. The writing seemed off and he’s focused way too much on the science to make it seem real if that makes sense. His writing in Yumi and Tress were so much better as well. Was a fine read but I expected this to be the best of the 4 and I have it at 3.

Anybody read A Court of Thorns and Roses?
Out of town and my sister had it laying around and said she loved it so I picked it up. 100 pages in and it’s an easy read but I feel like this is about to be more of a romance novel than a fantasy. Maybe not, I don’t know.
