Sometimes improving means players need more time on task, or coaches need to tweak schemes, or we need to recruit better players. And sometimes it means we need to fire a coach. Sad, really, that firing a coach, whoever the coach, is always our first and only solution.

At some point it may become necessary, but it's like the only tool you guys have in the tool box. So, whether the problem is a nail or a screw or a bolt, you reach into the box, pull out a hammer and pound away.

You're a decent poster. And you have some points in what you're saying.

I just feel like we've reached the end with SE. He's been here and been an OC or coOC for more than just this year. It's time to try something different. I think SE did try to tweak some things this year, and it was not effective. We don't need to keep going down this road.

Bring in a fresh face on offense. We need it.

Problem is, Orgeron already burned his OC mulligan after last season. Ensminger was his hand-picked guy, and not only has the offensive production regressed from previous seasons, it has regressed since the UGA game this season.

It's mid-November. We're past the point of needing more time or tweaking anything. Ensminger and Orgeron have nothing notable on their resumes to give them benefit of the doubt that they'll suddenly figure it out now.
