And it all goes to shite because it was eventually justified. They won it all on both occasions. On the flip side, you could argue that auburn got boned harder than anybody last year. Went 2-2 against 3 of the 4 playoff teams. Beat both the teams that faced off in the championship. They were basically penalized for playing a harder schedule than most and an extra game that one special team didn’t even qualify for.

Also, imagine if Oklahoma and Ohio state didn’t play eachother last year... they both get in over bama. Love that bama won it though honestly. Makes it even more ambiguous, and UGA had to play a team they thought they escaped for yet another year
