It seems every decade there was that one movie.

First it was Jaws, then Goodfellas and then Shawshank.

I don't know what 2000's is:

The Prestige? Minority Report? Cast Away?

All immensely rewatchable staples but nothing on the level of Jaws or Goodfellas.

A Few Good Men

Like a Saltine cracker.

It's filmed in such a way like it's saying, I'm going to be your friend...just stop mowing the lawn and sit down and watch me again.

There's nothing obtrusive about it that would get old - it has this veneer upon it that draws you so easily into the movie but you have to ask nicely.

So of y’all tried way too hard and named movies that are fantastic, but no chance you watch all the way through when they come on. Hell, most of them would never ever come on tv

Goodfellas and Shawshank were basically staples from the 90's and 2000s.

In fact TNT became renamed the Shawshank channel because it was on every Saturday in the 2000s.

Hear ya Carl. Jaws is #1. Can’t pass up some Quint.

#2 might be A Few Good Men. Maybe.

If I’m being completely honest instead of just naming some of the greats, it’s mostly comedies that I’ll keep on and watch all the way

Superbad
Big Lebowski
Wedding Crashers
Pulp Fiction
Role Models has been coming on quite often lately and I don’t think I’ve changed the channel
