I guess maybe patriotic isnt the word. But freedom to protest is 100% "by its very nature, inherently" American.
Now that doesnt mean that your employer has to choose to keep you on if you decide to protest, however these owners do not care and (as they should in my opinion) will pay anyone who makes their team better.
Edit: also Eric Reid is a tiger so I'll never hate him or call him gay or other degrading nonsense in the thread.

I 100% support Reid's right to protest.
I just also think it's hilarious that he doesn't understand he's in a line of work that has customers from all swaths of life.
If he was vociferously MAGA, he'd probably be free agent poison too.
If he was vociferously I'm with Her......same.
Wear pro-life shirts in the stadium? Same.
Wear pro-choice shirts? Same
Everyone wants to try and argue about why some customers don't wish to take in a product he is part of but that's literally COMMPLETLEY irrelevant.
If you are an owner, the fact some of your customers consider him a problem cannot be ignored. Owner's aren't in the business as a charity. They're trying to maximize revenue. Note, I didn't say they're trying to "make enough money"..........I said they are trying to MAXIMIZE revenue.
You don't do that by telling a significant percent of your customers you don't give a frick about their opinion...........even if you actually DON'T give a frick about their opinion.
