We are recruiting a ridiculous amount of 9th grade qbs right now. A good 5 from Texas, including Deion Sanders' son. I'm not sure if we are looking at 7th and 8th graders yet.

Why Not....if they are good enough and young enough do like some schools do and and get the parents to hold them back in these grades to let them mature a little more....

NOW flame away!!

The next big recruit for LSU and 8th grade should be Jamie Howard's son. He's in 8th grade and is the complete package. Already 6', athletic as he'll, and a flat out cannon. I heard last year as a 7th grader he won camp MVP at Sabans 8th grade camp.
I saw him play twice this year and it's unbelievable how polished he already is.

The kid can flat out play. He will be a special one.

Pretty bad track record on EARLY offers to middle schoolers so far...

Zadock
D Moses

I know they all knew about Fournette early on, but don’t recall if he actually had an offer before his FR-SO year.

I heard he is 15, but yes, I saw him play a couple of games for Ascension 7th-8th grade, and he definitely stood out. Very accurate passer.

Not sure. He plays for Ascension Episcopal School in Lafayette, which has a high school. His dad played for St. Thomas More. I suppose it will be one of those.

For their age groups, Walker Howard and the Freshman from Vermilion Catholic (not sure of his name) are the top QB’s in the Acadiana area.
