Very good book!Texans caught a lot of hell back then, but so did the Indians!

Empire of the Summer Moon was an excellent book. Really hit home how it took alot of effort to settle central and west Texas. The Commanchee were some bad asses who punched above their weight. You definitely didn't want to be captured by them. They were also quite ruthless to any other Indian tribe that were in their way.
