This. I'm an ER RN at the Lake. This is all just to shut up the masses. Anything above urgent care level illnesses will be transfered to the Lake and no traumas will ever be brought there. It's all for show.

As someone working the ER at the lake, you should use a little deductive reasoning and understand that this helps the Lake main campus as much as it helps sick people in North Baton Rouge. Now, a bunch of those people coming to you for non-emergency needs will be treated there and not take up valuable ER resources. It's basically a remote triage for you.
