Cad, what do you use for monitor and/or storage if any?

I'm leaning towards the $100 amcrest which is apparently under the foscam umbrella

have you read my posts on here?

i just bought a cheap 1GB external drive from staples, hooked it up as a NAS to my router and video gets stored there WHEN i record something.

you'll find there's no need (at least in my case) for 24/7 video, i only wanted to record if something happens.

eta i think i have a massive foscam thread on here from a long time ago where i went over all the settings.

in short: if you can hardwire or even better, PoE-wire it, you'll save yourself 95% of the headaches. yep its a wireless camera but you eliminate eleventy-billion headaches if you run ethernet to it.
