re: Soccer Boards Guide For Soccer Noobs

thanks for the thread. My interest in soccer has grown and grown since a high school coach let us leave school early to watch the World Cup several years ago.

My problem has been that I'm not emotionally invested into anyone so it's hard to really be all in as a casual fan.

I'm moving to Germany and am excited to get over there and see which team grabs me. Bayern Munich will only be a few hours away. Kaiserslautern FC is in the 2nd German league and is smaller, but would be the home team.

Anyone have any info on either club? Visited the stadiums, been to matches, etc?
