thanks guys.

A little off the subject, but still regarding soccer. What qualifies a player to represent a country in the world cup? Birth? Current resident? Or pick what you want?

I could be off, but if you have a passport for a country then you can play for them. I think any country of which you are a citizen. Also if one of your parents/grandparents were a citizen of a certain country. All of that has to be determined by the age of 18, unless you are a refugee. Someone correct any part of what I just got wrong.

Basically, there's quite a few different ways to become eligible for a country.
