I was a big fan of Mobdro.. Is there anything out there that comparable? Right now I am using TVMOB and LIVENETTV. But sometimes those two buffer or lock up a lot.. I want to stay away from KODI I never had any luck with that thing.. Not sure if it is the proper terminology.. But I want just a stand alone APK that gets the live channels and I can find the installation instructions on youtube or on the net.... Thanks for the help...

Depends on what you want to watch, I use Puffin browser ($20 yr and worth it!) to watch 123 tv now for four letter word sports and a few other channels, if you don't have ota capability there is Puffer you can get on the same browser which is a network tv offered by Stanford for free (requires registration no cc or payment). Plex, Pluto both now offer live channels for free too & there are lots of others like USTV247 but it requires you to purchase a VPN to unlock the best channels.

I’m a couple years too late to this cord cutting thing, but I’m really trying now

Been paying $119/month for xfinity Wi-Fi + tv. ProMotion just ended and now it’s $187/month.

We don’t really watch tv other than sports. I have espn+ through Verizon, so I’d like to keep the basic channels for nfl playoffs, etc (Fox, cbs, etc)

YouTubetv is like $65/month and that’s what I see most people recommending, but that doesn’t really save me a bunch.

Xfinity internet only is like $90/month, and that’s the only option in my area unfortunately.

Can I just get some rabbit ears and put on the top of my tv?
