It seems obvious that when this story broke a replacement (Fisher) had been contacted and indications were he would be available. The replacement backed out or became unavailable thus plan B was to stick with Miles. He has been given one more year then retirement.

So who is going to come to LSU as OC since we don't have one under contract and no legit coach is coming to LSU on a 1-year deal.

There is no spinning this besides a complete clusterfrick from the Athletic Department.

I agree if you keep your mouth shut, however when you pop off like Ronnie Anderson did to a reporter you need to share in some responsibly that is the national shite storm. Which hurts recruiting.

As a BoS you know what you are doing when you seek out a certain reporter to spew shite. He tried to big ball it and got bit in his arse as sentiments turned or they couldn't get their man if you believe what some are saying.

Otherwise, WTF is he good for?

Lol. I think you're confusing AD for a PR firm. His job is appropriations for funds an making hires tgat make the university money. Firing a guy with a 15 million dollar buyout is losing money, especially when you already sell games out consistently

This is a boosters, BOS, Alexander problem. Alleva's a puppet. One of them leaked and wtf is alleva supposed to do. This was not Alleva's doing. This was the doing of a typical old money Louisianian.

Jimbo turned LSU down last Tuesday, according to Mrs. Fisher as of yesterday things were too complicated to move! I guess as others stated if you don't have a coach you can't fire miles! coach miles is the face of lsu and I am glad he gets another chance!

Apparently Alleva has balls the size of peanuts.

It was "If we can get Jimbo, we'll fire Miles."

It should have been, after years of decline, lax, undisciplined teams, and shite offense--"I'll fire Les unconditionally."

He apparently was afraid he couldn't land a good coach. Hell, you let the LSU job come open and there's no telling who would be interested.

Yes, Alleva fricked this up nine ways from Sunday.
