You are correct Sir......Ak, Tn, Ole Ms all were able to rough up Bama. LSU was totally humiliated... So 5 years nowhere in the hunt for a championship nothing. Blah, blah about winning record ......if you don't compete for championships it is meaningless. I.e. NCAA basketball tournament

The reason those 3 teams you mentioned gave bama a hard time was bc their offenses made bama play the whole field side to side and up and down . Lsu did not . All bama had to do was load up box 8 to 9 men , and play on the line of scrimmage. Saban comes out of these games looking like a genius , but it is probably one of the simplest games he coaches every year.
