The "true fans that have been priced out" will just keep moving the line on their excuses as to why they don't attend LSU games. Ticket prices were a convenient scapegoat but as you can see with this game, they aren't showing up either.

Are there any major sporting events in this country that have $75 premium seating?

I have said this several times...

THEY DO NOT WANT A HUGE CROWD. They simply do NOT have the staff and resources available on this short of notice.

Fair enough I guess. I for one will be at the game as this is just too weird of a game to pass up. But given the situation understand that a lot of my buddies who would normally go with me aren't coming

Well shite, someone needs to tell LSU social media and LSU representatives all over the radio advertising tickets for Saturday's game. How embarrassing for them.

I keep seeing people say its going to be hot, but projections are under 80 for the majority of the day.

Yeah man, they had two whole days notice. They should totally cancel their plans to pay full price against a crappy team.

But to defend some. A lot of my friends would jump on these tickets but this is youth hunt weekend and they all had plans to take the kids hunting and have been planning it for months with the kids excited about it. So its not easy to just drop everything and go to the game.

The thread is 1.5 pages. Please keep up. Read the entire thing, regardless of how hard that may be for you. That is exactly what I am not saying.

Ya'll are making yourself look ignorant. S. Carolina set the ticket prices.

I get that and it's fair. But I feel like LSU and SC could have done more to put butts in the seats. Maybe a "family" pack or something like $150 for 4 cheap seats and couple drinks and popcorn. I know MLB venues do these things. Just wish they could have done more is all. But it's too late now and hope it's a good game and people get out there who can. I, like most here, have season tix and will miss only this game in TS this season. Damned Little League!

I have a feeling near gametime that tickets will be practically given away to fill the stadium up

I'm in the same boat. I volunteered for a church outreach weeks ago. My role is one that I kinda have to be there for. I wouldn't feel right ditching mid week to go to the LSU game, even though I'd like to. Sucks but it is what it is. I'll be well rested for Florida next week.

Glad the "true fans" got an opportunity to see the tigers play for once.

I agree with you 100%. My wife and I are headed out of town for our anniversary - a trip that has been planned ever since the schedule was released when we saw it was an away game. I'm a season ticket holder that never misses a game. I'm always seeing all the people bitching that they've been on a waiting list for blah-blah years. This game is a perfect chance for anybody who's here to see something extraordinary. I'm literally sick to my stomach I can't see it because these types of weird situations are always a sight to see. I saw every Saints home game in TS in 2005 and it was really something. I'll never understand why more Baton Rougeans didn't show up for that, and why more won't be in the stadium this weekend. I hope it's packed, but don't have much sympathy for a waiting list Tiger who opts to skip this. Something interesting like this doesn't come along too often.

I was at all the saints games as well (Remember the paper airplanes made from the programs were getting more cheers when they got close to the field than the actual game was? LOL)

The second I saw the flood in Carolina I told myself if this game gets moved, I'm going. Got my tickets last night, I have a feeling LF breaks the record. It will be crazy fun and strange environment. I'm not a season ticket holder (I'm on the list) but I make 2-3 SEC games every year. This was a no-brainer.

I have co-workers that are season ticket holders and most made plans for sat as well they can't back out of. One is helping his buddy move, other is a wedding. I get that angle, but the non ticket holders need to step it up and come out in force. You won't have many chances to see a consensus Heisman trophy winner (the 4th game in) and possible GOAT LSU player this close up at this price, if you get another chance at all.

I don't live in BR anymore so I'm making the drive from 2 hours away, the BR fans have no excuse at all.

Yeah man, you are the only person who plans stuff ahead of time. Everyone else should just drop what they doing and buy tickets two days before the game and pack the stadium but not you. You are the exception.

Non season ticket holder here, bought my tickets and heading to Louisiana from Texas for the game. Can't pass up a great opportunity to see a home game, hope more folks get out there and buy tickets.
