Agree for the most part. The whole facilities thing is overblown in my opinion. I've been to practically every home game (90%) for the past thirty years (basically my entire life) and think the facelift on the coliseum was fantastic. Plus, the practice facilities we have are considered very nice compared to other programs. Could the recruiting improve? Sure, but it is way better than it was even a couple of years ago. I truly think the best way to improve the recruiting (besides getting in bed with the AAU programs) is getting the fans more involved. For too long the coliseum has been mostly empty for the majority of the games. Even in successful seasons, the attendance is crap. The big time recruits are literally playing in front of larger crowds during their high school games. Of course, this leads to the chicken or the egg question. I just want people to get excited, especially when there is reason to be excited!

Leslie and Thompkins leaving definitely hurt, but I don't blame them one bit. Cash in your chips when you can. As a matter of fact, I would advise any top five to ten talent in each recruiting class to simply go play overseas for a year and then enter the draft. Make some money, get some culture, see the world. After all, the are all one funny turn of the ankle or knee from losing it all!

I agree with pretty much everything you just said as well. I think we're in serious contention for a 5* in 2016 and I couldn't agree more with the fan problem. I love the free tickets for students now because I think it's helped the attendance tremendously but the Athens-Watkinsville crowd just blows for the most part. It's so frustrating watching other games ok TV and noticing how much better the big programs' crowds are. That would be frustrating for me as a player/recruit.

I don't really agree with you on the overseas stuff because I think it hurts draft stock more often than it helps it, but I don't blame kids for taking money either. I just don't always think leaving early is the right decision and I thought Thompkins and Leslie would have both been first rounders if they stayed an extra year.
