Carolina Panther DC

He learned from one of the best DC's (Jim Johnson)
Current DC with Panthers
Flight going to Carolina
Good Resume

IMO that would be a home run hire.

Soooooo, why the frick would a current DC of one of the nastiest defenses in the NFL go down to the collegiate level to take the same position? This is just silly.

would he even be in Carolina right now? they play Seattle in like 30 hours.

even if he was, unlike that dickhead chief, I doubt he has time for an interview right now.

This fails the "ignore the name". Football fans know who Sean McDermott is and they definitely wouldn't need to look at his resume to know that hiring a NFL DC of a playoff team would be a good hire.

DC in 2014 means that we aren't getting an NFL guy, IMO.

This doesn't necessarily mean anything.

These planes are used by lots of folks. They are often chartered out.

Moore County is a popular place to get away:

quote:

Moore County has many golf resorts in the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area, and has played host to the 1996 and 2001 Women's U.S. Opens as well as the 1999 and 2005 Men's U.S. Opens. The Women's Open returned to Southern Pines in 2007. In 2014, they will host both the Women's and Men's Opens back to back, a first in U.S. Open history.[3]

As a result of the area's rare combination of prestige and isolation, many celebrities escape to this area from time to time. Among those who frequent or have private homes in the area are Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, and Sean Connery. Past residents of the area include Annie Oakley, Harvey Firestone, and John D. Rockefeller.

Who knows who is on that plane or what they are up to. Probably has zero to do with LSU.
