If both AU and Miss State win out, then they both go. However, the road is easier for AU b/c they don't have to play in the championship game. No?

AU knows how to handle themselves at #1.

If Auburn wins out, then they will have already beaten the SECe champ

If that scenario happened, you would be right. Miss St would have to play UGA in the SEC Champ game or "get" to play Mizz..

personally, I would like that to happen. We could get our revenge on the grinders and Free shoes U

No because MSU could still drop a game and go.

Yes if MSU drops a game and AU wins out though since AU will sit at home and still be in.

Only if UGA wins the East. Can't see any other East team putting up much of a fight in Atlanta.

So it's tougher for us bc we have to play Georgia? Don't you have to play Georgia too?

We have pretty much the exact same remaining schedule.

Auburn:
@Ole miss
@UGA
@ Bama

MSU:
@ Bama
@ Ole Miss
Vs UGA in essentially a road game.

Auburn has a landmine schedule remaining and zero room for error. MSU is still in a better spot.

Much rather be state. Auburns schedule harder, with a road game at UGA.

Same situation for Alabama if they win out re: Ole Miss.

And for those who think that a one loss non-champion will not get in, I'd like for them to explain how a Big 10 or Big 12 will have a chance to improve their record and SOS more than an 11-1 Alabama or 11-1 Auburn. Forget all the conspiracy bullshite. Just on the basis of what the committee just spent two days telling you. What games does a #7 TCU or a #8 have left to play that will improve their resume over an 11-1 Alabama or Auburn?
