Not sure if this is the place to do it these days but I am looking to upgrade my computer. The one I built back in 2011 is still running great but its time for something new. Below are the specs I have put together on PCPartpicker. For those of you that are better at this than me, is there anything I should modify or add? I set the budget for this around $3500 to hopefully hold me over for a while but am flexible.
The usage would be a mixture of work and gaming. For gaming I get into the simulators (DCS/Flight Simulator) but also have recently got into Cities Skylines and am doing this in anticipation of Cities Skylines 2 coming out in the fall.
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black 82.52 CFM CPU Cooler
Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER (rev. 1.0) EATX AM5 Motherboard
G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
Crucial T700 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Gigabyte AERO OC GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Video Card
Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX Mid Tower Case
Super Flower Leadex V Pro 1000 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Microsoft Windows 11 Pro OEM - DVD 64-bit
I like the look of the Corsair liquid CPU coolers and would welcome any suggestions there as a change.
I appreciate any help/suggestions.

I don’t have it in me tonight, but I’ll take a look at it tomorrow. I would also suggest you just c/p that as the OP of a new thread, so that way you don’t have to pick through other conversations

Went and modified your list a little bit.
- Went with a 7900x for your gaming and workstation needs
- 32 GB of Memory (100 more for 64 - but I got you pretty good storage - see next note)
- 2x 2 GB SN850x drives - pretty much one of the best PCIe Gen 4 drives out there, and you can get 2 of these for $200 through WD
- Super Flower is perfectly fine for a PSU - 1000 80+ platinum should be just fine for your build - my personal pref is Corsair/Seasonic.
- Someone with more experience regarding Ryzen 7000 cooling can chime here on the NH-D15 - if you're not OC'ing, I think the NH-D15 would be fine, but I'd probably lean liquid cooling if you're going to run it OC'd daily.

1. What's your intended resolution and framerate?
2. You don't need to buy Windows, you can use it free legally without activating. But if you must, you can buy a key online for $20 (W10) or $25 (W11).
3. The NH-D15 is no longer the recommendation for air cooling. You can get a Thermaltake Peerless Assassin for much cheaper.
