It's not that I mind their posters. I'm just sick of every poster that opens a rivals 100 for the first time chooses to come on the LSU board to gush over their recruiting. This might be their first rodeo but I was very involved in recruiting when Carroll was around so this is nothing new. It's USC, it's one of the few viable big time options for players out there and they recruit nationally because of the idea of So Cal and the media love. I'm just over it. This is nothing new.

Depth will be the Achilles heel of USC for the next few years. This years class is sick though.

This year will be the worst for depth. The team is very young. One more year of schollie limits after the 2013 class. Our depth will be better next year. However, huge drop off in the starting offense besides Lee. Depth will again be a problem in 2014, then we roll again. It's this year or bust until 2015, although we could land a BCS bowl in 13 OR 14, but only with some good fortune.

Oregon will sweep in and get 3-4 of theirs. Then we sit back and wait to see who gets sactions first. I'm betting on USC.

quite possible of they show us up, but I would say one or two and anyone or two would be big. Nothing less than 4*'s

if you look at past classes, USC is always stacked, and yet they still somehow lose to ASU by 3 touchdowns. hmmmmm. I aint worried.

I'm not so sure Kiffin is a bad Coach. I seem to remember UT playing really well in big games, ie; A blocked field goal is the only reason they lost in Tuscaloosa...

Yes, but it takes a special coach atmosphere to get all those "big" heads to play together. Ask Notre Dame, for years they out recruited everyone but really don't have the championships to show.

All these rankings of players means little to me, just means you have a lot of potential. Whether you are the top rated or 200th rated, it all matters when you step on the field. LSU has shown you can find great players that are not ranked too high by rivals etc. USC plays in a lame duck conference. Imagine if LSU was in the PAC 10 ?

its grim to see.

does he still use cheerleaders to go on recruiting trips?
or like Bama, do they use assistant coach's wives at USC?
whatever it is, is working.

our best hope for now is that the 10 scholarships they lose each of the next three years ends up creating lack of depth.

you can see they have 18 for 2013, apparently due to undersigning 2012 by 3.
