Hey kevg33,
Do we want to be like Most Schools? Most schools don't tailgate anywhere near as Big as LSU!

The further pussification of Tiger Stadium and the LSU gameday experience.

This nickle and dime shite by LSU and the inevitable traffic clusterfrick this will cause will inevitably make LSU gamedays to much of a hassle to attend on a regular basis.

In a world of HD Tvs and surround sound.. I'll choose the couch.

This pay to park BS is 100% malarkey. Can I afford it yes, will I pay it hell no! This does not nor will it every make me less of a Tiger fan. And everyone that thinks there is nothing wrong with this can smoke a poll! When and where will it stop? $20 & $40 is just the beginning, I am sure in years to come the prices will go up and/or they will tack on a TAF fee. I am done crying about it today, but I will stand by my decision and say to the people that made this happen

True dat. Can you imagine the cluster-frick Highland Rd. is going to be on game days next year? Holy shite!!!

Especially for the first home game next year. There is going to be so much unfamiliarity with the process and it will likely be a nightmare. They should at least give each season ticket account a free pass. They'd still make money charging for trailers and people who come every week without tickets.

Just wait until you pull up wondering why the line is backed up all the way to I-10 only to find out that some volunteer high school group is taking money for this and having to use a calculator to figure out the change.

I've already got September 10, 2011 circled on the calendar. We tailgate in the field at the corner of Highland/S. Stadium, I think I'll just slide my chair over and watch the fun

Are you with the guys with the huge tent and flatscreen on the corner of the Ag lot parking lot?

Why can't you just park off campus and walk. I have done that a time or two.

Not quite that simple.

I just hope they are smart enough to figure out a way to use some of this cash to land us decent QB!

I guess everyone couldn't, but I only go to one game a year and I have no problem doing so.

I'm telling you, you give those kids $10 for something that costs $5, they whip out the calculator.

I'm a long-time fan but this really does sort of put it over the top for me. The TAF fees to finance an upper deck that I don't want to sit in are one thing. But this, plus the BS excuse about it being driven by budget cuts, just leave a very bad taste in my mouth.

I love the team but the administration sucks. No more season tickets for me. I'll be seeing more from the couch from this point forward.

Sadly I think this may be the case for a lot of people next year.

I've watched a lot of old-timers disappear from around where I sit, and they were good fans. The few die-hards that are left have been sweating as it is. I imagine more of them will be gone next year. Sad.

My lot is still free, but I guess I have to sleep out there now since 40,000 cars will be trying to take my spot.
I have 2 guys right next to me that bring trailers and do not go to the game... so they have to pay $50 just to get on campus? Or is that only for the pay lots?

Their decision to not sell the parking permit in advance is another example of potential lost revenue for the university. They could collect the parking fee at the same time that season tickets are due. That would produce additional revenue for the university while allowing the Fans to avoid the hassle of purchasing parking passes before every game.

Either this or something other than "pay to park" when you get there on Saturday. We've been buying a Lot K pass from a guy for a few years ... works out great for us at this point. But the clusterf to get onto Nicholson from I-10 coming from Lafayette already stinks much less next year ...

There's gotta be a plan developed by LSU before next home season opener.

Aleva is serving us all a big shite burger in 2011, and we are all gonna have to take a bite if you want to continue your traditions on campus that you have been building for the last 10 to 20 years!
