You said Loston has never played. That actually isn't true. He played sparingly and on special teams last year.

Im talking about real playing time and experience. Loston playing special team does not help his development as a safety.

Also, the coaches were considering changing his position before Chad Jones left just to get him on the field

There have been plenty of rumors on message boards, but thats all Ive ever heard. Im not sure if anyone can confirm our coaches were planning to move loston to LB, which would be fricking stupid anyway.

However, all indications suggest the coaches really really want Loston on the field, and that says a lot.

Our coaches have expressed interest in getting certain players on the field, but failed at doing so before. Im sure we can all agree on that. I dont put much stock into what our coaches say, but instead, in what they do during football games.

The front 7 better grow up quick. They don't look to solid on paper, but hopefully they will be great where it counts.

thought loston was being looked at to play lb spot that coleman was in.............i guess after jones leaves he's still at safety. i do think taylor and hatcher will be the starting safeties at the beginning of the year though. wouldn't be surprised to see brooks or mo clai really push jai for the corner spot.

baker and sheppard are no doubt. barrow is mlb and ideally that is where sheppard would start this upcoming season. if loston moves, then he probably starts at lb.

Eugene will not start. It will probably be Claiborne.

I know there has been talk about Loston to hybrid linebacker position. Why not try Ron Brooks in that position.
I definitley thought he would have played more last year. What's going on? Is he not putting in the effort or is he just not starter material?
