That's some seriously banana republic kangaroo court bullshite right there.

Of course, we all predicted and expected it, so not shocking.

What are they objecting to? Asking questions that’d hurt their case?

The jury is watching you "Judge". They're watching you sustain every objection to limit Costellos testimony, they're watching when you dismiss them to reprimand a frustrated witness.

This judge would fit right in on the 19th JDC or the CDC in New Orleans.

"Judge" Merchan feels his case slipping away and he's lashing out.

This is what I don't understand, Prosecutors have an ethical obligation to learn the truth and dismiss charges when appropriate, why do they get to object to a fact witness that could help them learn the truth about the case they're presenting? They should, ethically, want to hear everything this witness has to say.

Regardless of what Costello says, this has to make the jury wonder WTF has the judge so riled up.

Apparently that only applies to poor minority defendants.

The Great White Whale defendants don’t get any quarter.

The only judge I’ve ever seen be less professional is in the OJ trial.

What Costello has to say, if he sticks to what he has stated publicly so far, brings to light Merchan's bias because this info has been out there since he found probable cause and refused to consider a dismissal even before the trial began.

Costello testimony not only shines a light on prosecutorial misconduct by the state, but that the judge is working with the state's executive branch instead of being an independent member of the judiciary.
