And right leaning populists absolutely do NOT think for themselves. They think whatever Huckster Carlson tells them to think.

Left leaning populists think whatever CNN tells them to think.

Matter of fact, there's probably less independent thinking going on now than any other time in my lifetime (I'm 53). Populism has gained too much of a foothold for that.
