Does anyone desire an SEC tournament championship?

I always thoroughly enjoyed PM’s teams rolling through Hoover. I know most people don’t care about it much but I like the SEC tourney and I like watching LSU go deep in it

I’d rather the team be hungry in the postseason. Winning the tournament would make it feel like the job is done after having an already disappointing regular season

It would definitely be awesome considering how crappy they started the season, but I’m only worried about them making the post season at this point.

the pitching you would have to spend without having the bye would not be good for the next week and regional play
I would rather do enough to make sure you get in the NCAA and rest the pitching staff as much as possible after

Most years it isn’t a huge deal but I think it would be awesome this year after the way we started. Baseball is a lot about confidence and running through the SEC tournament would add to the players confidence. We would have to play some teams we lost to earlier in the season as well and beat them to win it. That would be the definition of peaking at the right time.

Last year, I didn’t mind the team losing. I knew bigger games were ahead. This year feels different because if you don’t win that first game, that might be your last game. I think Jay approaches this year’s tournament differently.
