Get in here Ladies & Bros of The Ever Nervous and Finger Wagging Soy Cult of COVID. This is the thread where you apologize for the unscientific fear porn and exercising your Inner Tyrant and destroying lives.

quote:

The charges stemmed from Smith’s decision to reopen his gym in May 2020, in defiance of Democratic Governor Phil Murphy’s COVID-19 lockdown mandates. Smith reopened Atilis Gym, arguing that the lockdown orders were unconstitutional and harmful to small businesses. The confrontation escalated in July 2020 when police officers forcefully arrested Smith for repeatedly violating the state’s shutdown orders. Officers, including K-9 units, burst through the gym’s doors and arrested the owners for defying the governor’s directives.

The state’s aggressive response included seizing $165,000 from the gym’s accounts, funds Smith claimed were amassed through donations and apparel sales to support the gym’s legal battles. “Governor Phil Murphy seized 100% of our assets today – $165k, all of which came from donations and apparel sales,”

All charges dismissed with prejudice. Now, who do we go to to press charges against a tyrannical government that thinks our Constitutional protections are just impediments to their dystopian Statist appetites?

Our “above the fray!’ moderates will be in here to tell you that this never happened and, if it did, your constitutional rights are not as important as Big Pharma’s profits. But, they’re totally not progressives.

Good thing he didn’t try to fight the K-9, because the officers would have executed him on the spot.

Back the blue.

I really wish that article was written well, because I have a lot of questions and they went to great lengths not to do any real reporting.

People on this board… lots of them… large majority… wanted a man arrested for going to a father/daughter dance simply because he was exposed to someone with Covid and hadn’t even tested positive yet. Let’s not pretend people around here weren’t psychos too.

Interesting, and telling, that there is minimal news coverage of this resolution, yet every media outlet in the fricking country was tripping over their collective dicks to run this dude and his business into the ground.

frick all those slimy cocksuckers.

Now, give him his money back......with interest.

Here’s what will happen

He will sue the state and win a large sum

State will pay a large sum

Money comes from taxes not politicians pockets

Commie progs get elected via either steal or brainwashed zombies who don’t work

Conservatives will end up paying bulk of payout since they work for a living and pay bigger taxes.

Its fricked up that commies will pay very little of the sum he is going to get even though they installed the commie governor. And no politician will go to jail.

I hope he is able to sue the state for a blistering amount.

I have no idea if Murphy can be criminally charged with Malfeasance in New Jersey, nor what the penalty for it is, but I hope he can and there's some definite prison time involved in the sentence (even if the verdict comes down after he's left office). Until/Unless politicians are held to some meaningful level of accountability, such abuses of power will crop up again at the next opportunity.

I bet that there was an agreement that he would not pursue malicious prosecution or wrongful seizure claims. My guess is he probably got eay more than that $165k

Is he the guy who has a DUI manslaughter conviction, and posts almost Nazi-like anti-Jewish stuff on Twitter? As much as I hate COVID lockdowns, he ended up being the worst possible figure for the anti-lockdown movement.

In fact, I'm half-convinced that the pro-lockdown people targeted him rather than some other business owner who disobeyed lockdowns just because they wanted Ian Smith to be the figure of the anti-lockdown movement.

These city and congress members tha signed off on it and anyone who went along and hopped on the covid bandwagon ruining this nations economy and small business over elections bc that’s what it boiled down to… should all pay out of there own pocket! Not the tax payers and be bared from ever participating or being able to make any legal actions or laws going forward…

You don’t.
That’s literally one half of the reason for the second amendment.

Many governors and politicians should be legally tried, convicted, and executed for treason for what happened during Covid.

It’s funny how the rich got richer and these lockdowns hurt small businesses. Almost like it was planned.

Imagine you are that gym owner and you feel you are being unfairly and unconstitutionally forced to shut down against your will yet you stand your ground. You are in your gym and cops show up with K9’s. They break down your doors, release German Shepherd’s on you, what do you do to defend yourself? This has turned into a life or death situation that the government and cops have created and you feel your life is in danger. What can you legally do to defend yourself?
