RFK is their only play since he is already on the ballot. That being said, he’s running as an independent for a reason Also, black women will stay home if they pass over Kamala for RFK, Jr or Newsome. The party will eat itself alive if they dump Biden for another straight white man.

It's never too late, DNC makes their own rules.
His dementia riddled arse makes cheating harder. They'll have to cheat twice as much this time around and they pulled all the stops last time, and more people are watching for it this time.
They'd love to replace him but he won't leave voluntarily. They're sick of him too but he won't bow out. They can't just boot him because they're involved in his corruption.
He has to agree to leave and protect their secrets or they'll have to kill him.
Or.. cheat but prepare for a loss. They'll focus on attacking and blocking Trump's presidency and prepare for '26 and '28. There isn't a final WIN for anyone.

They aren’t replacing him. I thought they would but they clearly arent. They wouldn’t be scheduling debates early if they were going to replace him.
Their play is to punt on 24.
Make don and republicans own the economy and inflation and come back in 28 with someone like Gavin.
It’s like Bob Dole. They let the old guy his last ride in the sun while the party as a whole is on a strategic retreat.

He barely beat Hillary who is one of the most disliked politicians in recent times.
And he barely lost to Biden in 2020, which makes the "massive cheating" narrative very curious to me.
"Massive cheating" looks to me like winning by 20 million votes, not 90,000 in Michigan, 20,000 in Wisconsin, 50,000 in Pennsylvania, and a couple hundred thousand in Georgia.
That's cutting it awful close IMO when you are "massively cheating."
But then again, I keep being told that "it's obvious," so I suppose looking at numbers and asking whether that narrative makes any logical sense or not is a mistake. I should just go with "it's obvious" and turn my brain off after that.

I’m 2020 where Biden was adequate on the debate stage, the economy was terrible and shut down, race riots all summer and we were giving massive government hand outs setting the table for the inflation?
That one doesn’t take a lot of imagination to see how it could swing to Biden.
2024? Yeah I agree that it would take a massive, massive change for Trump to not win fairly handily. If there isn’t a seismic event and Biden wins I will be very very surprised.

If so, you're objectively wrong.
Obviously, Biden got more than he did in 2020. But Obama also got more in 2008 than Trump did in 2016, when he won.
If you're saying that because you think people cheering at a Trump rally means that he's the most popular ever, then I don't know what to tell you.
He's definitely got a cult-like following, but there are even more people on the other side who hate him even worse than people hated Nixon.

To rig or NOT to rig -- that is tPTB question. I can't help but think they will be unpredictable about this.

This is the correct answer IMO.
Honestly, I don't think the Democrats confidently expected to win in 2020. I think they hoped for a win and they did everything they could to try to win (including some cheating, although I think the "massive cheating" narrative is ridiculous), but I think they were a little surprised that Biden won.
I think they had that strategic retreat scheduled for last time around and had to pivot when Biden actually won. And what I think they pivoted to is having him advance an agenda that is so radical that nobody else would advance it in a first term b/c it virtually guarantees defeat in the re-election.
I think they figured he wouldn't make it through a second term anyway, so forget trying to win one.
