He's redshirting this year. They wouldn't play him now and burn the redshirt.

I remember when Ruddell quit the summer team he was sent to before his freshman year. Sounds like it's becoming a pattern.

If I remember correctly last year Josh Stevenson was in Hoover, but didn’t make the postseason roster so I wouldn’t say this is him being added to the postseason roster.

Is baseball different from other sports where you can play a certain percentage of the team's game and still redshirt? For instance football allows four games.

Football is the only sport that does that as far as I know. I don't understand why they don't extend it to other sports.

Possible, if he is really good he won't need the red shirt anyway cause he will be Pro

If you are talking about the pic I think you are, that is Cam Johnson shagging fly balls for BP.

If Mitchell hasn't played up to this point of the season, he will not be playing. Will be a RS Freshman next season and get his chance to help the team.

No, I'm 95% sure in baseball if you play at all during the season, the redshirt gets burned. Only thing that may come into play is if an injury occurs.

If he was really good he would have gotten some type of opportunity by now with how the OF position has been a merry go round all season. I think he can be good in the future but obviously wasn't ready to contribute this season.
