Unfortunately, my son needed a new water jug for wrestling after he left two at different venues out of state. I wanted one that fit in the side water bottle pouch of his wrestling bag, the 36 oz Yetis and Hydro Flask were 50 bucks, so I got him a Stanley 36oz Quick Flip bottle for $28. It's perfect, fits on his bag, and keeps ice all day.

This is one time I support my wife following the hive mind. She used to waste money on bottled water. Even worse, she'd walk into a store and buy "Smart Water". I bought her two Stanley cups and now she fills them daily from the brita pitcher. They have paid for themselves sadly.

We got my daughter one for Easter. My wife got 1 for Christmas, and she got me one, too (didn't ask for it, but didn't feel the need to return it, either). In addition to the Yeti's we have collected over the years, the Hydroflask and generic $20 tumblers that we own, I told my wife that we were out of the cup business after daughter got hers. I use the same 3-4 cups every day for coffee, water, cocktails and the occasional Coke, and I wash them after each use. Everybody else lets mold and shite grow in theirs, use those NASTY reusable straws, and in general don't take care of them- I just refuse to wash theirs.

Holy shite.... We live the same parallel life... My daughter and wife refuse to let me put theirs in the dishwasher, so it sits in the sink until they wash it and take it out... I'm not touching it. I use my same Yeti my nephew gave me probably 10 years ago, a knock off Yeti from China that actually keeps coffee hot longer than a Yeti, and a Kysek I won in a men's club meeting door prize.. I put all of them in the dish washer, and all are basically the same.
