Gotta give credit to BT for getting them ready to play. They dominated the competition this weekend and I would say they have better than 50/50 shot

You sure the "culture problems" within the program won't hold them back this weekend?

would have been really nice if CSF had pulled the upset and not have to travel
I think they have a decent chance as Stanford is definitely not on the level of some of the other matchups LSU could have drawn and LSU can use the snub of not being #8 to their advantage
Look how many sec teams made it, LSU is battle tested and will be ready
I'm glad Pleasants has started hitting

Hope the girls can lay off of Canady's rise ball.

Agree. They’ve played the Tennessee pitcher who throws just as hard. The difference is that rise.

Well great cause they better... They underachieved in conference play and in the regular season in general not getting a top 8 seed. This team was always WCWS or bust. If they don't win this weekend, it will be a bust-- and should predicate a coaching change.

Not sure I’d call it underachieving. Every SEC team made the tournament. They played good teams. Should they have won a few more, maybe.

CasualObserver today:

CasualObserver on 4/26:

Zero chance this team gets to okc...

Also CasualObserver:

Frankly, they look like they have quit, this is same class that the HC has made excuses for going on 4-5 yrs now…maybe it’s they aren’t that good
quote:

Zero energy, like a morgue around there, mainly seniors, no wonder this senior class hasn’t achieved anything. I look for a quick exit in regionals....
quote:

Oh I agree there gotta be drastic changes, it needs to be torn down..from strength and conditioning to practice plans, new assistants, new 3rd base coach and go find some dawgs not show ponies
quote:

Ppl under play culture and how important that is..culture of winning, playing for each other, culture of hitting and situational hitting. LSU has a bad culture and zero leadership and you can put blame on Beth for not developing that culture and leaders. They aren’t tough, every coach will tell you toughness is developed through strength and conditioning, well theirs is easy as it gets..they do nothing hard therefore when it gets hard they fold

I really am thankful that you aren't the AD. I would hate to have someone so ridiculous in charge of major decisions.

There are issues, because they play scrubs doesn’t mean they go away, they were there vs Ole Miss, Mizzou, and 4 other SEC teams…

And 7 made the supers.

That what the casual softball fans don't comprehend, you can be at the high end of the lower half of the SEC and still be a super regional team.

And only 2 are playing each other in the supers.

Can you imagine the nationwide melt if there are 5 or 6 SEC teams in OKC, PLUS probably new SEC members Oklahoma and Texas??

I watched and listed to both Torino and her players discuss the program and what it means to them personally.

The culture is EXACTLY what I want at LSU. There are people who cannot be happy if LSU doesn’t win the championship. And those people are willing to shite all over good people who are performing extremely well because of it.

Yoruba should be given an extension…not an ultimatum.

Why do you people do this to yourselves? Knowing her track record, we could very well be out in the first two games!!!

CasualObserver is one of you--he is on your side.

He is setting this up to shite all over the team if they fail at Stanford, which is a likely scenario given Stanford has the best pitcher in the nation. Not saying LSU can't win--but he is playing the odds and setting up the "Beth's teams choke at the end--we need better hitting, blah blah blah" narrative if we lose.

some people like to listen to their brain rattle when they open their mouth. Try to be a little optimistic. Don't be so negative. We are playing good ball so anything could happen. Be happy birds!!!

Not quite. Lynch is a good pitcher but well below Canady
