We beat Georgia & we're in
The only chance LSU has of not getting in, even losing to UGA is if the committee says 9-10 teams is the max number of SEC teams that are getting in period. Everybody is stacking LSU up against the rest of the SEC, but what about the rest of the at larges?
If you compare LSU's resume to some of those teams there would be no debate that LSU is better. In a tournament where your job is to get the best possible teams in, how do you just ignore that?

Florida is likely not getting in if they finish with less than 30 wins. If they do it will be a historic outlier

Beat UGA and we're in. We'll get an RPI boost from playing UGA, UK, and another SEC team.
Lose to UGA and I think we're in if USC loses too.
I'd feel better if we lose and florida loses than Vandy. I think it's easier to have us in above florida than vandy

UF played all of the harder teams down the stretch and MUCH MICH BETTER competition out of conference.
That’s not at all true. The only tougher competition they played was two midweek games against FSU that they lost. LSU played 2 Q1 games against Texas and ULL in weekend matchups and and won a series against Top 40 Xavier. LSU went 4-1 in those games. Florida had no weekend matchups against the Top 60, but still lost 3 times. They lost 4 other midweek games against non-Q1 opponents. Their midweek opponents may have been less weak, but they were still weak and they lost a lot. There’s absolutely no reasonable interpretation that Florida’s non-conference performance was even close to as good as LSU’s.

We will see how well Johnson and Johnson got along

You are leaving out all the context that is in LSU’s favor and only focusing on the bad.
You have to focus on the bad, because normally the discussion is whether we'll be a Top 8 seed and host the Super Regionals, too. Sometimes the question is whether we host a regional or not.
This year, the question is if we even make it. It's fair to list the reasons why we won't host, and may be left out; and then come back with why we should get in.
Overall record= I think we're 2 wins under the hosting bar. We're 36-20, I think had we been 38-18 we'd be in discussion for the final regional host.
Conference record= that would knock us out of hosting, I think 3 more wins might have done it- 16-14 maybe, 17-13 for sure. I'd say 17-13 might even have us as one of the Top 8.
I think the sweeps by Tennessee and Arkansas prevent a Top 8, we probably needed to go 1-2 vs at least one of them. If we had against both, along with the 2-1 against A&M, we'd likely be #7 or #8, in line to host a super regional.
Other 13-17 teams in SEC= this does hurt our case. Alabama, Florida, Vanderbilt are all solid, good teams (as we are), who are in no way near the top of the SEC. We're all lumped in together, along with South Carolina, with Fla probably bringing up the rear. That's the group the committee has to actively look at, and decide whether they had a good enough season to make the playoffs.
The fact that we lost the series to all of them is going to factor in; it isn't that we beat A, and lost to B, while A beat B and you have to sort it all out. We didn't win a series against anyone.
I think it comes down to whether Florida's overall record knocks them out, vs South Carolina's late collapse, vs our not beating any of the teams we're competing against.
If I had to guess today, I'd say Florida is out because of record, the SEC gets 10, and we're in the last group in. I say it that way, because I think they lump us together, remove Florida, and then say "ok, spread this group out as 3 seeds".

collegesportsmadness.com has LSU as last four in playing in the Corvallis regional and matched with Clemsons regional

LSU sweeps Ole Miss and knocks them out completely. LSU is back in but on the edge of the Last Four In. A couple of wins in Hoover should lock them in as an at-large.

They are saying that LSU is close to being one of the last 4 in, but they have 4 other teams on that list.

Also they have USCe as a 2 seed. They are a 3 after losing 6 straight SEC games and only having 13 wins

TAMU lost to Ole Miss as well. they are sinking.
If you hang your hat on them now that the book is out on their newer pieces, you’re not seeing the entire picture.

But you are looking at this from a biased point of view.
Look who we’ve beaten
Since the 0-3 weekend at TN
Missouri 2/3
Auburn 2/3
Texas am 2/3
Bama 1/3
Ole Miss 3-0
Look I’m happy over where we are vs where we’re after the Tennessee series. But ole Miss, auburn and Missouri aren’t even making the sec tournament

They just took 2 of 3 vs Ark including a run-rule win on Saturday. They will be a top 4 seed.

You really want to talk about not seeing the entire picture? You literally said LSU hasn't won a series against anybody, while leaving out the aTm series. Now that you were called out on it you want to downplay aTms season and point out they lost a series to Ole Miss and ignoring their very last series win versus Arkansas.
You are picking and choosing what you want to focus on, and minimizing some MAJOR areas because they disprove your dumb arse takes.
And how come you ran from the other questions asked in this thread?

Ole Miss is in the SEC tourney. Auburn just took 2/3 from a Bama team who a lot of people feel is firmly in the tournament.
LSU's situation is less than ideal, but you can point out flaws with literally every other team in our same boat.

The positives for LSU are that they are in the SEC (the best conference), they have a pretty good overall record, they've played better recently, they did take 2 of 3 from A&M (a high seed), they also beat Texas, ULL and La Tech (who all should be in). And if you want to subscribe to "reputation matters", then LSU IS a big name, and we're also defending national champs.
The bad thing is that while we're an SEC team, we finished 4 games under .500, and lost 6 of ten series. We did take the A&M series, but got swept by Arkansas and Tennessee... so we're 2-7 against the cream of the conference.
We lost the series to Florida, Vandy and Bama, who finished with the same conference record... so at first glance we're behind them.
If you want to do a deeper dive, and say we were competitive in a lot of those losses, then that's a double-edged sword. You could claim we could have won a lot more games, you could also state that we've blown a lot of games we could have won (not a good thing).
That Alabama loss could be damning- we were in "have to win" mode, and we had that game wrapped up- and blew it. Literally threw it away. That one game changes the discussion, we're probably talking about maybe being a 2 seed somewhere if we took that.

I was referring TJ the conference schedule for them being heavy the back end.
Their last 5 series looked like LsUs first 5 except they had UGA. They also beat LsU head to head AT the Box.
But go ahead and try to spin this shite.
They had these their last 5.
Vandy
Tenn
Arky
UK
UGA
As compared to LSUs last 5
Mizzou
Auburn
TAMU
Alabama
Ole Miss
The 2 worst teams in the conference and a sliding TAMU.
So I stand by “down the stretch”, UF had a MUCH MORE difficult schedule but carry on.
