Who knows who is on the committee for deciding who gets into the NCAA tournament?

I thought I heard on the radio that one of the guys who is on the selection committee has a son who coaches at LSU. I know that sounds crazy but I am pretty sure I heard that.

I've always thought that it's insane to have active athletic directors on these selection committees. Same with the college football playoff committee.

I tend to think so as well, but also not sure what the alternative would be.

Maybe someone that is not employed any of the universities, someone like the D1 baseball writers, guys that call the televised games, etc.

No one dislikes LSU baseball. The tournament is truly better with LSU in it.

Long interview with CPM & he said that in 2011, when the Tigers didn't make it, he was told by a friend on the committee that, with no SEC representative on the committee, " there were a couple of members on that committee that had such disdain for the SEC that there was no way that they were going to let LSU in. In fact we were on the board (to make the tournament) when they went to bed the nite before .And when the committee showed up the next morning someone had erased LSU off the board. That's how emphatic they were about not letting LSU into the tournament that year".

Probably the video crew who reviews baseball plays that seems to screw LSU and always sides with the elephants
