Don't know about cost of living.. my brother, who has worked up there before, says there's tons of things to do.

Left LA about 6 years ago. We’re in Apex. Lots to do. COL has gone up and lots of growth. 1000% better than baton rouge. There was a big thread on this same topic a month or so ago.
