US Open Qualifier in Dallas Today

US Open Qualifier today at DAC...140 Players.....PGA and LIV players in the field. Good opportunity to get close up view of big time players playing a good track. Cameron Champ, Sergio, Reed, Joel Dahman, J.B, Holmes plus others ...they will announce the # of qualifiers from site before round starts! This is a local qualifier....18 Hole shootout!

I saw old Andrew Loupe made it through Local Qualifying in Houma too. I guess he is playing in Final qualifying on 6/3.

One of my best friends from HS is playing as an amateur. Nate Alberius. He’s +2 through 6. Pretty crazy he’s playing with all these pros. College baseball player that just started dialing in post college.

Saw ELI at Live Like Liam tournament on Sat....he said he would be notified today where he is going for final qualifying.

Patrick Reed also WD from the qualifier & never teed off yesterday. According to USGA, that means he can’t try to qualify at a different site on 6/3. His streak of playing in every major since 2014 comes to an end

It’s also what happens when OWGR isn’t accurate. Another top 50 golfer gets left out of a major while Grayson Murray & Jake Knapp get in.
