I still have the Alabama list squared away for safe-keeping.
Unfortunately, I was never unable to find the Mississippi list...it seems to have been successfully scrubbed from the internet.
Anyone wanna help a brother out?

I can confirm there are people on the list that were just idiots looking for some strange.
I posted about this in another thread about the leak a couple years ago, but I was on the list (or so I've heard). I was single, had never even met my wife at the time. Nor had I met anybody off of AM. When the leak came out I was just dating my wife at the time. Told her my story, she laughed, moved on with our lives. But I know everyone that sees my name on there probably assumes the worst about me and don't stop to put two and two together that I wasn't married at the time.
This was all before Tinder, back when dating websites were the only other option if you didn't have time to go out to bars. Most websites were awful. One drunken night (perhaps after striking out at the bar) I see an ad for AM. The only thing I remember about AM was it was a nicer website, which of course = hotter women. Score 1 for the marketing department. Guess I was too drunk to notice it was geared toward affairs, not regular dating. I believe there was a free trial going on (I'm way too cheap to have paid for one of these sites), but you had to give CC info. I guess drunk me decided that was no biggie and I'd just cancel when the trial ended. Sober me did not remember. Got hit for a one month sub, I canceled and never looked back. But the damage was done.
Met my wife a year or two later on Tinder, like a respectable person. Then this scandal breaks out about all these men caught cheating and it didn't even occur to me that it was the same site I spent one drunk night on years earlier.
I was just a horny guy looking for hot singles in my local area. There's literally dozens of us.
Anyway, believe me or not, I don't care. Wouldn't expose myself on here if the story was bullshite. Anybody that investigates would see I only spent whatever the 1 month sub was (not one of these bros trying to explain away $1,000s of dollars spent ), and you would see it was before I was married. I only tell the story to give some benefit of the doubt that there are names on there that were "wrong place, wrong time."
I imagine there's thousands of people on here that would have some explaining to do if their credit card activity from a blackout night on Bourbon St. ever got exposed. "I didn't know that was a gay bar, I swear!"

I found two guys I knew on it. One was an old friend that I had lost contact with but knew he was just married the year before. The other was a relative's father in law. I confided in the relative about it but he defended his father inlaw up and down saying it wasn't him, the email addy was the father in law's name+ year of birth , still denied it was him, even thought the father in law had already been caught cheating once before.

My local Representative was on it, I believe his marriage survived? I was told he also was caught downloading porn in Computer Class at Catholic High, and lucky to survive that too.

Knew a bunch of people on there, several got divorced as a result, some are even clients, really changed my perspective on them as individuals. I check it again every year as I meet more people.

True. But you brought Biden into the fray for a site that was started during the Bush administration in 2002 . Some of those "potato head" voters voted for Bush, Gore, McCain, Kerry, Obama, Clinton, Trump and Biden. Today's Potato Head has nothing to do with it.

It's really amazing to me how many wives forgave and moved on. Maybe I'm just a callous, heartless dude, but if my SO would have been in that list, you're out of my life, no reconciliation happening.
The fact that this site still exists and apparently is even more popular now than ever, just shows the continued deterioration of the idea of a nuclear family.
I still can't ever believe I could get over the breaking of trust and the visualization of an SO getting railed by another dude.

Double standard definitely exists because even women know that men are dogs and will wander as a part of their nature. Its much more insidious if a woman is cheating.
I was surprised by how much credit all the guys I know got from their wives for NOT being on the list. I was a hero for like a week!

Just means they've been partially retarded for at least 2 decades only making 1 right choice.. Just reinforces the old saying that even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while...

I can’t believe people actually thought there were just a bounty of horny women just waiting to hook up with married men if only you’d enter some basic info online.
That was my first thought as well when the ads were everywhere. (1) Where there really than many horny women out there trolling the web for hook ups, (2) if so, what is the caliber of women we are talking about here, and (3) if they were the type of women portrayed in the ads they had to be hookers.
In my experience, women don't really need to troll the internet to find guys to have sex with them. Especially attractive women.
you mean there aren't hungry cougars within 15 miles of me as advertised?
i'm in sales and have been at close to 100 conferences, hotel bars, afterparties, drunken customer events and have remained faithful despite some decent advances throughout the years.
i'm not a 25 year old buck anymore, but i'm also not an ugly fat dude who hits on chicks at a bar or these parties and creeps them out. friendly and confident beats out eager and aggressive.
if women want to bang, they will let you know.

Women cheat just as much as men. It just that an OT5 married mom can doll herself up, head to the club on Girls Night Out, and can have every swinging d%$&s in the room buying her drinks and hitting on her with little to no effort.

That was my point, women for the most part, aren't in sites like this. They're either in girl's trips and getting it from some local guy that she'll never see again, or attending events like you mentioned (conferences and stuff). That so much easier to do and not get caught than a website like AM.

I only know of one, and he’s a bar owner in Baton Rouge. I think he’s still married.

That's the other truth. Why expose yourself on a website like AM, when every single guy (just about) would bang an average looking married wife and compete over it. It's not difficult for a woman in the slightest to find a willing, decent looking guy.

My wife printed the list and sat on the phone with her girlfriends going over it for people they knew. They all work in politics and were really looking for any elected official. Saw a couple guys I knew and was like, "Yup. Figures."
Your wife printed out a list that consisted of 32 million names?

My first and last name were on there, but the actual dingleberry that had an account put his middle name in his email address.

"Ashley Madison was a scam in a lot of ways…they had hired female posters who would reach out to you acting like they were interested…"
So was Match. I signed up several years ago for 30 days. After a couple of uneventful I was tired of the same ole faces so I was ready to cancel. Last day before my membership expires I get multiple messages from some really hot women who I hadn't seen on there before. So like a dumb arse I sign up for another 30 days. When I log back in all of those profiles no longer existed. Never again.

A guy I used to work with was the 4th highest spender on the list.
A customer of mine was in there.
A girl I work with, her husband was on there.
When the Only Fans list drops, I’ve already told my wife I sell fat dude feet pics on there.
