I'm not sure we are 'definitely' in even with a W tomorrow. We certainly are not in regardless of W/L against UGA. 2 or 3 wins would be the least I would need to feel comfortable. We do not compare well with the other 13-17 teams (excepting South Carolina, who is in a full nosedive and we luckily did not play). The other four have better RPI's and beat us head to head.

I understand that it’s all a giant math problem, and can logically understand that getting beat by the #1 team in the country shouldn’t hurt you.

But when you can get swept like USCe did and your RPI increases from 23 to 19, I think there’s an inherent flaw with relying too much on RPI. Similar instance with cancelling late season mid-week games because even a win would hurt your RPI.

Seeing a lot of naysayers saying we aren't locked in yet. What's y'alls thoughts?

So you have already read the 57 other threads on this topic and have seen the remarks but you start another thread? What would you like everyone to say so we can put this to bed already?

All it takes is a hater on the selection committee to vote us out. Keep winning.

The committee loves to screw over LSU when they have the chance to.

Keeping the defending champions out who also draw one of the biggest viewerships would be a terrible decision. Especially if LSU is right on the bubble.

At least we don't have to wait all day for our games
get it over with today before it gets really hot and same thing tomorrow if they can win, won't be backed up by other games running late either

We are.

Youre just working yourself up for nothing. A win today would absolutely lock it in. 99% sure we are already there.

D1 already has us in the field and not even as one of the last 4 in. We have the best record among the 5 13-17 teams and KPI is supposed to be weighted heavily. The 5 SEC schools at 13-17 all have a KPI of 22 or better. Some other schools are going to be on the outside looking in.

Sit back and enjoy some morning Tiger baseball.

Feel like we are in either way but really don't wanna sweat it out all week with bid stealers and such.

It’s neither but in order to control our own destiny it is a must win. If we lose, our likelihood of making it rises and fall on what other teams do. And not just SEC teams.

So must win to feel like it’s in the bag. I think if we lose our likely is just about a coin flip.
