Louisiana receives way more money back from the federal government than it "sends" in. You think Louisiana infrastructure is bad now, just imagine what it would look like if the fed cut funding.
There is a reason Louisiana is a shite hole. It's because of dumb crap like this you get from the Louisiana legislature.
