Propaganda at it's finest.
As if Louisiana, or any other State needed to make decisions on it's own accord, they would be the exact same as what recent history has brought us to.
I'm sure they say Delaware puts in more than they get back due to corporate sheltering. It's simply a BS money metric. What industries does Delaware offer that if it was a standalone country would make it sustainable? Farming? Mining? O&G? Fishing? What? What resources do they harbor that makes them more beneficial? Same for Vermont, or how about Minnesota? Lots of agriculture, but they are landlocked so the system as it is designed benefits them.

You think Louisiana infrastructure is bad now, just imagine what it would look like if the fed cut funding.
Tell me more about the federal clusterfrick of I-10 in BR, the LC I-10 bridge that is one of the worst in the country, the lack additional lanes for the length of I-12.
So tell me, if Louisiana were to keep the tax revenues from the petrochemical industry and O&G, do you not believe they could do better for themselves?

Its because of populism.
Goes back to the Civil war aftermath, then Huey Long. Louisiana is pro lawyer, anti business.
So the people in Louisiana are "populists" that support lawyers over businessmen? You don't actually know what populism means, do you?
Democrats cry about everything being racist. You cry about everything being populist. Kindred spirits.

Anyone else notice that all the people in this thread that have a problem with this are your typical anti-America First types and establishment bootlickers? It's not a coincidence.

Landry literally just bent the knee on this. LINK
Not to mention begging for federal money to help out crawfish farmers LINK

A. That's a state law
B. They also have a much lower % of the population receiving welfare.

I wonder why.
America First loves them some unimpactful virtue signaling. It is perfect fodder for their NPC nature and echoes loudly in the echo chamber.

However, the WEF and WHO are toothless right now
They'll all the teeth that the US Federal government gives them if we let them.

Louisiana is chasing ghosts to keep from making real change.
Preemptively disallowing a foreign entity from having legal jurisdiction within and upon US citizens isn't really chasing ghosts. It might not be important to some but that's exactly the attitude the WEF and WHO count on. Nothing to see here, move along, Hey look over there.

a. The WEF is a think tank. There is nothing to "let in"
b. If the feds "let them in", there is nothing Louisiana can do, legally, about it, without changing our Constitution.

It's the definition of chasing ghosts...or boogeymen. It's not even legal or enforceable.

Yep, morons on this board praise this like it makes a difference.
Ignoring the fact Louisiana has essentially no industry and is a good ole boys club that new grads flee to Texas for real opportunities.

EXACTLY!
If the Fed wants to cut us off from funding, then we play a game of chicken with the Mississippi River commerce entering the River and state.
That would EFFECT THE ENTIRE WORLD!
Geographically, Louisiana holds many cards to play if the politics have the balls to tow the line!
And if Huey Long didn’t sell us out, we would be an economic juggernaut if we kept our oil revenues. But that POS brokered a deal
Where we are basically subsidizing several Mountain West States receiving revenues from oil off our coast lines.
We’d be able to finance our own coastal restoration projects!

Did they have any jurisdiction before this bill?
The answer is NO.
Do we currently have career politicians in Washington, DC who cater to WEF
and the WHO and believe the US should follow their lead?
The answer is YES.
Time to draw a line in the sand and tell the NWO to frick off.

But to set the precedent before it happens when dealing with something that is evidently being pushed is not so bad of a thing &
I’m sure it wasn’t some major time consuming piece of legislation.
PLUS, I think somewhere recently that I read that Biden may have signed some sort of agreement with the WHO and giving powers to the WHO for the next pandemic they will unleash on us. Not sure if it has to go thru legislation or not, but I do recall something happening with the WHO lately.
You do know they are about to unleash more bio-weapons! It may be this bird flu deal happening, if not that, will be something else.
They are dying to put masks on everyone again & God knows they have warehouses full of vaccines!

This does no such thing. This bill has no power and violates the Constitution of the US.

It all goes back to Huey Long, PERIOD!
If we had our oil revenues, we wouldn’t need a penny from the Fed Gov’t!
This can’t be debated. Look it up.
