Judge Aileen Cannon called out Special Counsel Jack Smith for his dirty tricks in Trump’s classified documents case in a rare Sunday filing.
Jack Smith has repeatedly warned of a ‘significant, immediate’ threat to the government witnesses if their names were unredacted.
The Special Counsel has been fighting to keep the names of government witnesses a secret. He also opposed the unsealing of discovery material because one document confirms the existence of another FBI investigation.
In a five-page order, Judge Cannon, a Trump appointee, said that she is “disappointed” that Jack Smith has demanded redactions for “witness safety” when it benefits him, but ignored those concerns at other times.

Smith would be more than happy if defense witnesses suffered an accidental suicide, by being shot in the back, running away, during a cajacking.
Witness safety isn't his concern.
Getting the advantages that Bragg has in not allowing the defense time to prepare is what he wants... that and he's got plenty to hide for himself and his team on discovery so they are trying to limit that too.

Yes, BUT.......she postponed the trial right? She's basically say this is WHY the start date changed, Jack Smith is trying to hamstring the defendant, Donald J. Trump, but I am not going to allow this.

Judge Cannon really took it to Smith. Handed his arse to him. fricked him real hard on that decision. Can he ever recover from getting what he wanted and Judge Cannon granting him his motion.
Did you also hear about the other win for Trump on Friday? GA Appeals Court said they will hear the appeal about DQ in Fani Willis. Board made it sound like the Court actually DQd her. Then I read what was decided. Should have read: Appeals judges decide to grant an appeals hearing on the matter.....

TGP isn't as bad as MSNBC/CNN when it comes to propaganda. We know those two have damaged your brain , of course the level of stupidity you spew makes it obvious reality is out of your reach. Cannon is going to give Smith as much rope that he needs to hang himself. She's laying the ground work for unreversable appeal by Smith.
