East: Celtics vs Pacers
I think Celtics win this one in 5, possibly 6. Celtics will have an off night somewhere in there, maybe two...just don't know if Indiana can stop them consistently or score to keep up with them.
West: Mavericks vs Timberwolves
As a Mavs fan, this hurts me to say, but I think Minnesota wins it in 6. My logic behind that is Minnesota is too damn big for Dallas. Gobert is 7'1". KAT is 7'. Naz is 6'9". McDaniels 6'9". Anderson 6'9". Alexander Walker 6'5". Edwards 6'4". Then finally Conley at 6'. Minnesota will sometimes play a lineup of Gobert, Towns, and Naz at the same time along with the 2 guards. Dallas will have hell matching up with that. Dallas typically only plays 1 big at a time, and PJ/Jones will be very undersized against Towns/Naz. Not to mention that one of those two has to guard Edwards.
For Dallas to win, Luka and Kyrie have to play good ball every game, along with the role guys of Jones/PJ/Green/Hardaway hitting big shots. Gonna be real tough on Gafford and Lively down low. Kyrie will have a big mismatch with Conley guarding him...he's gotta get going early and often. Luka likely catches Edwards or McDaniels, both of which will be a pain in the arse but neither will completely stop him...problem is the bigs packing the paint behind them. OKC was able to swap at half court with Chet/Dort/etc and give Luka issues. MIN can't do that with Gobert out at half court. So may get some mismatches there. Jones and PJ have to hit the big corner 3s whenever KAT or Gobert help off.

I think a big overlook for this round is Kleber. Dallas needs that backup big vs MIN

Wolves in 7

I have Minnesota and Boston with the Wolves winning the NBA championship. I think tonight featured the two best teams. Minnesota would have been the one-seed had KAT not missed around 15 games late in the season. Minnesota has the confidence like never before in franchise history having won on the road, won from behind, winning with role players stepping up...and that was all done tonight. I think MIN wins their first professional title in team history and first for the state since the 1991 Twins beating the Braves.

So it takes Boston 5 games to beat the pacers but only 4 to beat the wolves???? You are and idiot.

Minnesota could lose, but damn, you think the Wolves are getting swept? I would lifetime ban bet that one!

Oh deary me. Minnesota sports bros… the innocence and optimism is so pure.
Brings me back to when I was a young boy.

Minnesota over Dallas in 7
Celtics over Pacers in 6
Pretty good matchups. Knicks fully healthy would have been more fun but I think the Pacers can make it a respectable series, especially if Porzingas stays out a few more games as expected.

The Celtics couldn’t sweep a Miami team without Butler and they’re going to sweep the Wolves?

Actually they only have to play good ball in 4 games.
