Is Bryson the only pro golfer who’s image has improved since joining LIV?

Seems like he was close to universally disliked and always injured when he joined LIV. Now he seems way more likeable and down to earth, plus is playing the best golf of his career.

Can this be said about any other LIV golfer?

He also has a strong YouTube presence which helps a lot IMO

Probably. I was pulling for him or Hovland today.

I was thinking about this earlier today. It seems like everyone who has gone to LIV has hurt their image except Bryson and Brooks.

I have no explanation for Bryson, other than he’s kinda reigned in his personality a bit.

I can see Brooks has changed much. Maybe people like him better now that he is hitched

I don't think it's LIV; I think he's just taking his golf more seriously now, trying to be a championship player and not a long drive guy playing on tour. If he had had his irons working today, he would have won.

I think I see the reason here, although I’m not sure Brooks has changed his image much.

Both of those guys have annoying and draining personalities, so seeing less of them actually helps their image

Also Bryson has really tried hard to become likeable on YouTube

I didn’t mean brooks has helped his image, I just mean going to LIV didn’t damage it any further. He’s kinda always embraced the golf douchebag role

He’s the one that was the most obnoxious when he left. He has toned that down a lot, to the point of being likable now. Good for him if he was that self-aware or listened to someone else make the suggestion. I no longer cheer against him the way I once did.

I don’t watch YouTube golfers or the Shorts Tour. I’ve got no interest in it.

I was actively rooting for Bryson today. It was fun. He was electric. I miss him on the PGA Tour.

ETA: Middle of a Major in contention and he does this. How can you not love this?!

I think he took himself wayyy too seriously, or at least that’s how it came off.

He seems like he’s just out there having fun now and doesn’t seem like the pompous douche he came off as a few years ago.

I’m rooting for him. He is fun to watch.

I think it’s fair to say he is the only player who’s imagine has improved but he’s still very unlikeable. With Bryson it’s less is more and the less you see him the less you hate him. He’s def matured i think and his interviews are definitely better. But he is just a cringy player for instance the slamming his water jug down on the range after the putt on 18. But to your point, i believe everyone else has become even more disliked accept maybe Cam Smith who’s image imo hasn’t improved or gotten worse.

The positive energy he gained from dumping that stupid fricking hat is like half of it.

All you need to know about Bryson's development as a golfer is this: on none of the 4 days did he go for the green on 13. Bryson from 3 years ago would never have passed up that shot.

He’s proved that LIV will kill your game

Bryson is a golf nerd that lives and breathes it.
A lot of these other guys are not that way. They won’t play enough, That they won’t keep up with the absolute best players in the world When it counts.

That 8 iron on 16 gave me chills. That was awesome to 3 feet. I think he was 220-230 out.

Also used to dislike him but electric is the right word for yesterday.

Appreciate that he reigned in his personality and really loves the sport.

He’s a very entertaining guy

He has a great social media presence.
Possibly the most marketable person in golf right now, much more interesting than Sheffler really

He shot 64 in the final round of a major, I think he hit plenty of good iron shots, just couldn’t make up all the ground.

It’s a 8 iron with 6 iron loft. He made a joke about it. Impressive nonetheless. Always been a fan of Brysons approach to the game. Don’t call him the Mad Scientist for nothing.
