jokes aside, I’ve been pretty out on the nba since 2019 or so but he’s kind of brought me back in
Yeah Ant really is awesome. The MJ/Kobe comparisons have been run into the ground but he really does remind me so much of young Kobe, especially with his general frick you attitude to anyone he’s going against.
Ant vs Luka should be a treat for us fans and probably the first of many playoff battles

Congrats to Wolves
This one hurts, because we’re in Jokic’s title window. I thought we’d maybe get 2-3 out of it but if nobody else on the team fricking steps up and we keep fricking around it may only be one. Jamal can’t disappear for 4 games out of 7
Not taking away from the Wolves, they’re really good. But still feel like the Nugs fricked around this playoffs and it bit their arse . Whoever comes out of the West is gonna damn sure beat Boston
Maybe it wakes em up for next year, repeating is hard.
They're the best team in the NBA, maybe by far, when they have energy. But it's pretty obvious to me that they ran out of gas. They've played way, way more minutes than any other team in the NBA over the past two seasons.
ETA: for next year the longer off-season with this shorter playoff run will help. But then Malone also needs to cut back on playing the starters so much in the regular season. Denver starters played more minutes than any other team's this season

One more while we celebrate this glorious occasion on this beautiful evening...

If this worthless arse Celtics team wins it all I’ll be pissed, they’re not a team. Just a bunch of 3 shooters, I hate Derrick White with a passion. His fairy run, his hairline, his face, frick him
You're not alone. Everyone just assuming they'll blow by the Pacers to the championship seems to forget this Celtics team's love of choking every year.

DEN lost every game where they made under 40% of their three point attempts. THey had a big lead in spite of the poor shooting early, but once MIN sped up their offense, DEN looked physically exhausted. The MIN bench won the four games they won.
I’ve consistently thought all year Denver had the best starting five in the league. But they shite the bed this series. Ppl will point to their bench but that isn’t it, it was Jamal being dog shite for 4 games, AG completely lost his physicality as a bruiser, , MPJ was nowhere to be found tonight, and KCP got schooled, and even Jokic disappeared for the first two games. He finally turned it on but was too little too late.
The starting five just got beat, that’s all there is to it. They didn’t show up like they’re capable of. But give Minnesota credit for that

You’re absolutely not wrong, I didn’t want to use that excuse but I absolutely agree they just looked tired this postseason. Lakers series shouldn’t have been close, but they fricked around and every game was a nail biter.
I think they were tired, that’s just a fact. That’s why it’s so special to repeat. This team just wasn’t able to overcome that
They G sweep Boston in the Finals if they’re rested, but I’ll leave that up to Dallas or Minny now

I don’t know who we get rid of him for though, he’s a max guy. He can’t play defense, but he’s 6’10 and can light it up when he’s on, WHEN he’s on.
He’s probably attractive as a trade package cause he’s young , but I don’t know who you go after that fits with these boys that have been together for so long. Somebody who’s unselfish but makes it rain and can play defense….idk but I’m not against trading him at all

You with Bruce Brown once again. This is at least the 5th time I've seen this from you in the last week or so
And it came to be true. Denver had no bench scoring when it mattered. Only 5 points tonight from their bench.

I've watched probably 150 nuggets games over the past two seasons, and I've been worried that they just didn't have it this season for a while now. The front office has been talking about how fatigued the team is since October after the title run.
My main concern is that Malone and the front office don't seem to be on the same page and that needs to change or they're going to run the starters into the ground again next season.

Like I’ve said, they have no bench threat.

Well at this point the nba and networks need the celts in the finals, no matter who it’s against. Not many will watch the packers against Minnesota.

The GM's plan was to draft older, more ready to play guys with the late round picks then develop them over the course of the season even if means dropping a few more regular season games.
Malone didn't do that at all and instead ran the starters into the ground and none of the young guys were developed. Pretty big disconnect.

Due $38m next year and almost $41m the following year. Awful contract for a guy who is just a dude in the playoffs. Need to figure out a way to connect him to his brother's gambling so you can get rid of that contract.
KCP is gone, will get a better deal elsewhere. Braun will step in to his role, scoring will be about the same but defense will go down some.
AG will be back, no issues here.
Murray will get a max deal but cant sustain a 82 game season and playoff run so will miss multiple games. You cant let him walk so is what it is.
Dont see the team getting better so happy they got the one last year. WCF is probably the ceiling ongoing. Joker plays out his contract through the 27-28 season and calls it quits then it is back to Nug life.

This was when you knew they were in trouble vs Minny. The multiple 20pt comebacks vs the Lakers were fun but they expended a ton of energy and how the frick is this team falling that far behind the freaking Lakers?!
Time to make a few changes to this roster, IMO.
