Watch the crash test reel. No way I would allow anyone in my family to own one.

You know that video was fake right? Try watching the real video.

10k and put the other 90 into restoration with upgraded brakes, suspension, ac, nice modernized interior with a tuned coyote engine and 5 speed manual transmission have a much more badass ride that would turn heads and win car shows.

Would likely be more like $190k.

I saw that same video. It was disturbing.

Get an old Jeep YJ. Easy to fix. Much cheaper to buy. Still fun to ride around in and enjoy the weather.

Totally agree. It is not being used for what its designed for but overall, it has been a good vehicle. We got it late in 2021.

Has good pick up, nothing falling off of it. Like you said, the way it should be with just 30K miles on it

My biggest complaint about it when I drive it, the sound system it absolute garbage. We bought a mid tier system with it and it's horrible.

Wife and son each have one. It’s a much better ride than the jeep. We have had no issues on either one in two years of ownership. Like above the base stereo is horrible. Had to upgrade to aftermarket in the big bend trim. Wife’s badlands is tolerable.

I have a 21 that I didn’t receive until 1/22. But 27k miles so I far and I have no complaints. There were a couple of weird interior noises that I had to fix. One with the hard top and another with the tailgate. They’re common problems though and easy fixes after searching the net.

The most significant quality problem which affected the 1st generation of the new Bronco design (released 3-4 years ago) and Ford Escapes was catching on fire. Fuel injector issue related to one specific engine I believe.

However, they are still recalling vehicles as recent as April with fuel injectors getting hot and still cracking, leaking fule and fires. 1.5 liter engines.

The mrs decided she needed (ordered in last July, came in October) a Bronco and purchased a 2023 Outerbanks version, V6, sasquatch package and soft top last fall. No issues with it and no recalls issued against it thus far. She seems to really like it.

That issue / recall was only the Bronco Sport, not the full size.

So what motor comes in the Raptor Bronco and what size tires come on it? Price tag? Aren’t they pushing $100K? I have a buddy that has a ‘70 that he wants to sell. It is in pretty good condition. Not great, just good. I think his ballpark is $80K. As we all know the older ones in damn near mint are pushing six figures and the custom restorations are starting at $200K. Shite, at the end of the day, you have for all practical purposes a 50 year old vehicle that is the price of a small house. I am just kicking around the idea of a Raptor but also think I would enjoy getting back in an old one since I had a ‘72 back in college.

I'd rather buy a used Toyota FJ, but that's just me.

Raptor variant comes with a 418-hp twin-turbo V-6 engine, a Fox suspension system with greater off-road capability, and 37-inch all-terrain tires for maximum traction.

From experience. You'll still feel like your riding in an $85K antique which includes questionable steering, rattles, and a laundry list of future fixes. But its still awesome.
