I’m not sold on the new Twitter capabilities here

The last update to the TD universe brought the ability of enhanced Twitter linking. At this point I’m not digging it. Lately, a large percentage of threads have become just a repeat of whatever crap was posted today on Twitter. I don’t want TD to just be a sloppy seconds for twitter jibber jabber. I’ve always appreciated that thread posts here were more often than not unique (even if the topics weren’t.)

Sadly, the OT has been mostly regurgitated headlines for years now. The new embedded link feature certainly adds to that.

It only bugs me when an OP posts something like a news story, Twitter link, video etc but doesn’t offer any comment for it and then expects others to comment. Are they just publishing content or afraid to provide the first opinion?
